  i recently realized that the more photos i post, the faster people go when they look through them. it's the same in real life, too... your buddy comes back from a vacation with two handfuls of pics, so you look through them as fast as possible... flipping through them like shinobi going through ninja stars.

  if your buddy came back from her 2-month vacation with only FOUR photos, you'd spend maybe a minute chatting about each one.

  it's basically a time management thing.

  people do this because, in general, they subconsciously allocate a block of time for a given task... also, the busier life gets then the smaller the block of time we set aside for a given task. so we rough-hand divide the block of time by the number of photos, and that's why we spend so little time on any given photo.

  sometimes it takes me a few hours to select, crop and (occaisonally) digitally twiddle a photo for posting. if you wanna print it out and use it as toilet paper, that's your thing. if you wanna stop and smell the roses, well... i appreciate it. this xanga is for you.
