    5 weird habits of mine... hmm let's see:

    1. when driving automatic, I use my left foot for braking
    2. I collect coins and bills from different countries
    3. I soak my cereal before i eat it... hard cereal has a tendency to scrape the skin off my palate. Grape nuts is basically gravel to me.
    4. I compulsively organize things: racks of cd's, books, dinner plates, etc. If I visit a friend's house, I have to fight the urge to gather up loose stuff and organize them.
    5. Sometimes I make stuff up just to fill in the blanks

    More experiments in over-exposure... a familiar photo to people who have bought my poster.

    Last week I donated blood. When the nurse stuck the needle in, some blood actually squirted out onto my arm!! I said "hey, that's not supposed to happen..." and all she could say was "well, you have a big vein" -_- gee thanks!

    I'm taking a break from xanga. Happy holidays, see you all later.

    It's a 15-second exposure capturing the lights on a jumbo jet incoming to San Diego International Airport. Another sort-of repost, I've cropped the original a bit. I called the old one "dangerØp's 100th" but it was actually #99... oh well. This is one of the few shots that I actually set out to do... most of my photos are just "wherever I happen to be".

    The original pic is part of gallery 140, a collection of my least worst shots.

    Someone just had a bright idea. Har har.

    With this pic, you can see why professionals use raw image formats and don't re-compress images (this includes annoying things like not rotating images before letting customers order proofs). With some experimenting you can see how the blocky effects surrounding the halos become obvious... the result of how jpeg uses a block area compression algorithm.

    Pushing my über-minimalist layout design a bit more... suddenly I feel like designing skins. Anyone want to sponsor me with xanga premium?

    Another repost. I love this larger image size, don't you? ^^ Having a new image format means I can recycle ALL of my old photos and it'll keep this xanga busy for another 230 days! hahahaa =þ

    Okay okay, some odd child keeps poking me... ;)

    5 random things about me:

    • I like cacti. I also like food. but the "southwestern cactus omelette" at the snobby brunch place wasn't very good.
    • Sometimes i wish i could just let myself get swept away. Screw that "being in control" stuff.
    • I want to avoid turning into a xanga whore. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. So even though I post a photo here everyday, I try to spend as little time as possible on xanga. Occasionally I have to fight the urge to quit.
    • Freudian slips crack me up.
    • I did the spelling bee twice in elementary school... but now I misspell so much, I swear I'm dicklexic. I mean, dyslexic.

    dang... I think most people I would want to tag have already done this!

    An "aloha!" to franksabunch for being the first to notice the constellation orion in my last pic. Fuck you man! You're already a xanga A-list celebrity! Jeez I gotta send more people your way?!? Hahaha... you know what they say, 'the rich get richer'...
